When remembering the biggest moments in your life, the smallest details tend to take on a larger significance. With these posts, I wanted to play with the idea of the associating the shoes you were wearing with the memory of a professional accomplishment. Giving Shoesday is not about giving away a pair of shoes or about cleaning out your closet. It is about giving our clients the good luck others have found along their path towards success. It’s in the spirit of women helping women. It celebrates the successes our donors have had while encouraging our donors to give back in a meaningful way. Women will be able to reflect on their own journeys and make it easier for other women to succeed the same way they did.
It’s more than just a pair of shoes, it’s a shoe that carries the best wishes and good luck of another woman.
